| Ultramicrotome is used to take thin sections of resin embedded samples, using glass and diamond knives, to study under Transmission Electron Microscope. The instrument can ba used to take ultrathin sections in the range of 50 to 100 nanometers and semithin sections in the range of 1 to 5 microns. |
